That’s why we’ve created a complete preventive care plan that covers all the essentials: vaccinations, parasite prevention, microchipping, and nutrition.

Our kitten care includes:

Vaccinations

Kittens start their vaccines at 6–8 weeks of age, with boosters every 3–4 weeks until about 16 weeks old. Core vaccines protect against serious illnesses like FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia) and Rabies. Depending on your kitten’s lifestyle, we may also recommend the Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) vaccine. Following the schedule is the best way to keep your kitten safe from infectious diseases.

Deworming & Parasite Prevention

Kittens are especially prone to intestinal worms, which can affect both pets and people. Deworming starts early and is repeated throughout kittenhood, then continued regularly as adults. We also recommend year-round protection against fleas, ticks, and even heartworm, using products tailored to your kitten’s needs and lifestyle.

Microchipping

A microchip provides permanent identification, giving your kitten the best chance of finding their way back home if ever lost. It’s a quick, safe procedure that can be done during a regular visit or at the time of spay/neuter surgery.

Nutrition Guidance

The right diet is essential for healthy growth and a strong immune system. Our veterinarians will recommend high-quality kitten food suited to your kitten’s age, breed, and lifestyle, and help you know when it’s time to transition to adult food.
