Dr. P. S. Brar’s journey from the farmlands of Punjab to the beautiful city of Penticton reflects his lifelong dedication to animal health and compassionate veterinary care. Growing up in a farming family, he developed a strong bond with animals—especially horses and dogs—which inspired his calling in veterinary medicine. With over 17 years of professional experience, Dr. Brar combines international knowledge, advanced surgical skills, and a client-focused approach to every patient he treats. After beginning a new chapter in Canada, he gained extensive experience working in several small animal clinics and a 24-hour emergency hospital in the Lower Mainland. During a holiday visit to Penticton, he was captivated by the community’s warmth and natural beauty, inspiring him to establish Peach City Animal Hospital. Here, he enjoys practicing high-quality veterinary services, including soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and compassionate, extended-hour care to ensure every pet and family receives the attention and support they deserve.
Dr. H. S. Maan graduated as a veterinarian in 2011, beginning a career defined by compassion, dedication, and a deep love for animals. While studying at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC, he discovered his true passion for veterinary medicine and animal welfare. During his early career, Dr. Maan volunteered with the Worldwide Mission Rabies organization, contributing to global animal health initiatives. Over the years, he has practiced in Calgary, Kamloops, Surrey, and the Seattle area, and successfully owned and operated a veterinary practice in Abbotsford, BC, for eight years. With family roots in the Okanagan Valley, where his parents once had a farm, Dr. Maan has long held a connection to Penticton and feels privileged to now serve its community. He resides in Penticton with his wife, two sons, and beloved pets—Karma, Petty, and Coco.
